The Byrd Ensemble provides music for Compline, a short evening prayer service at St. Clement of Rome Episcopal Church every Sunday at 7:30pm .
The Compline service is the final church service of the day in the Christian tradition. The English word “Compline” is derived from the Latin completorium, as Compline is the completion of the working day. Although the service lasts only about 30 minutes, it has grown in popularity and has been a source of meditation and contemplation for people with various religious backgrounds.
